Maps & Neighborhood Guide to The Villages

Get Oriented Before You Visit

If you’re new to The Villages, one of the biggest challenges isn’t choosing a home—it’s simply figuring out where everything is.

With more than 150,000 residents spread across approximately 57 square miles, The Villages is much larger than many people expect. Recreation centers, golf courses, town squares, shopping districts, restaurants, and neighborhoods are located throughout the community, making it difficult to know where to begin.

That’s exactly why I created these printable maps.

Whether you’re planning a visit or preparing for a move, these maps will help you understand how The Villages is organized and make it much easier to decide which areas best fit your lifestyle.

Explore The Villages from North to South

The video above takes you on a tour of the community from north to south.

You’ll see the character of each major area, including:

Spanish Springs – the original town square with beautiful Southwestern architecture and nightly entertainment.

Lake Sumter Landing – a popular waterfront destination filled with restaurants, shopping, and live entertainment.

Brownwood Paddock Square – a western-themed town square featuring dining, shopping, and entertainment.

Sawgrass Grove – one of the newer gathering places with restaurants, outdoor seating, and regular entertainment.

Eastport – the newest town square, offering a modern waterfront setting as The Villages continues to expand.

You’ll also get a better understanding of how the different neighborhoods connect and how the community continues to grow.

Golf Throughout The Villages

Golf is truly woven into everyday life here.

The Golf Maps included in this guide show the locations of championship golf courses, executive courses, driving ranges, and practice facilities throughout the community.

One of the biggest surprises for many newcomers is how convenient golf is. No matter where you choose to live, chances are you’ll be just a short golf cart ride from a course or practice facility.

Recreation Beyond Golf

The Villages offers far more than golf.

The Recreation Maps highlight neighborhood recreation centers, regional recreation centers, swimming pools, parks, walking trails, outdoor fitness areas, and many of the places where residents enjoy clubs, sports, classes, and social activities throughout the year.

These maps make it easy to see just how many opportunities there are to stay active.

Shopping & Everyday Convenience

Living in The Villages means having everyday services close to home.

The Shopping Maps highlight many of the major shopping districts, grocery stores, restaurants, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and other services located throughout the community.

They’re designed to help you understand where many of the area’s major destinations are located while giving you a better overall picture of how the community is organized.
